Order of the ARROW

#OA

For more than 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich and help to extend Scouting to America’s youth.

Troop 44 OA members are a part of the Achwon Woapalanne chapter.

The Order of the Arrow will conduct it’s Spring Fellowship at Camp Freedom in Oberdachstetten, Germany May 15 – 17 2026
September 11 to 13, 2026 OA Fall Fellowship – Camp Freedom, Frankenkaserne Germany

OA events are not troop events. Please arrange for your own transportation and bring your BSA health forms to the events. It's best to have two copies - one to be kept at the Scout Hut and one for you to keep at home.

SM Galeano was nominated and selected for Vigil honor. He completed his Vigil ordeal at Camp Freedom in September 2024.

COngrats, Tripp!

Tripp completed his Brotherhood ordeal at Camp Alpine in Switzerland making him Troop 44's newest Brotherhood member.
